Culture Club
What’s scarier, a larger-than-life mural of Prince, or a gaggle of veil-wearing girls celebrating a bachelorette party? Culture Club has both within its 1980s-themed palace. Over-the-hill teeny-boppers can pretend they’re slow-dancing with Kirk Cameron on the dance floor, but if you’re a nice girl then feel free to strap on some leggings and hang out by the Debbie Gibson poster. You’ll party like it’s 1985 and “walk like an Egyptian” on a temple of fluorescent blocks surrounded by your favorite ’80s movies on televisions throughout the club. If you’re more into Brandon Walsh and Hammer dances, head upstairs to Nerveana, where the 1990s is paid tribute.
