Cubana Cafe: Packing your wallet full of twenties for a night out in SoHo? Before you hit the bar two doors down charging double for a cocktail with no "ay caramba," stop by Cubana Cafe to get pre-lubed with $6 Mojitos, Cuba Libres, or whatever your fancy from the fully stocked bar. There's only about a half dozen barstools, but no problema, the staff is so friendly and laid back, they'll let you and your amigos take over a couple of dinner tables if you ask. While you're there, avoid spending a week's salary on dinner by ordering up one of their Cuban specialties, like pulled pork with whipped plantains and rioja wine sauce (only $8.50!), the sure pre-cure for a post-SoHo hangover. |
