Crudo: Italian Crudo is the not-yet-trendy raw bar. But times, they are a changin’. A long railroad bar that opens up to a graffiti-covered garden, Crudo is the perfect spot for a low-key night with a small circle of friends. Crudo’s décor is quirky and raw—exposed brick, cinder blocks, and a random log hanging outside the bathroom. The bar area is pretty thin, so grab the right vino to go with your seafaring meal (sushi, oysters, carpaccio) and head to the “Back Lot.” A few bricks shy of full-scale hip, Crudo is one of those places best kept to yourself before your Hoboken-based cousins catch wind of it. |
