Crossroads: A friendly neighborhood bar, this spot serves as the crossroads between work and home for many, or the unemployment office and a friend’s couch for others, whatever the case may be. Formerly the Raccoon Lodge, the bar changed names when it changed owners. Other changes include a cleaner, better maintained bar with a freshly renovated jukebox. The beer selection is superb, with over 20 imported bottles in addition to 16 domestic. Crossroads is a good place to go with co-workers after a long day to bitch about “the man” and then let the tender sound of Gretchen Wilson singing “Redneck Woman” lull you into a stupefied bliss. |
