Citrine: With kaleidoscopic lighting, mirrored walls, and golden banquettes, Citrine (formerly rocked-out Snitch) is far clubbier than its head-banging predecessor. Though it shares its name with a semi-precious stone (servers don matching yellow rings and pendants), Citrine could be just another cubic zirc on the scene, but a rainbow of celeb guests, including La Lohan and Perez Hilton, think it's the real deal. First-time owners David Rodolitz and Adam Elzer (of Impulse Productions) impress with a sleek and airy space by architect Sol Sterns that's defined by an ultra-wide dance floor and lofted DJ booth. But beware: The already-notorious door is a bit friendlier to models than mortals. The tunes, primarily dance and house, are spun by guest DJs like Sam Ronson and fashion guru Richie Rich—and you'd better be just that if you want more than one $16 cocktail at Citrine. Open Tues.-Sat., 10pm-4am.
