Cinema Cafe: Like its three Manhattan sister locations, Cinema Café at 70th pays tribute to classic Hollywood films with movie-licious cocktails. The iconic image of Audrey Hepburn holding her slim cigarette in Breakfast at Tiffany’s is just one of the movie poster renderings painted on the café walls. Enjoy silent black and white movies from the Chaplin era with $6 Cinematinis in select flavors during happy hours, although signature mixes like the Dirty Harry dirty martini and the espresso, Kahlua, and Absolut Vanilla Midnight Express cocktail aren’t included. Both inside and out, Cinema Café at 70th is considerably larger than the 60th Street location, and its ample sidewalk seating is worth the extra 10-block trek on a nice night. |
