Tune into this sleekly modern bar and restaurant that boasts a clientele of tourists heading over after spending the morning greeting America on the “Today Show.” Of course there are also numerous Midtown suits who set the drinking dial to Channel 4 with regularity for the weekly 5pm-7pm happy hour beer specials. Given its proximity to (and cele-bration of) the NBC studios, we wouldn’t be surprised if a few incognito peacock stars popped in and autographed their respective celeb paintings that decorate the walls. While you’re on the lookout for a Conan sighting, you can enjoy the eclectic American/Irish menu, featuring everything from tapas to hamburgers to Prince Edward Island mussels in a white wine sauce. So, come on over—take a commercial break and who knows, maybe you can dine with Matt or Al.
includes a good bartender who serves the drinks first and then bullshits later.
The wings are good but my fave is the scallops wrapped in bacon... makes you feel as if you're eating healthy as you wash it down with copious amounts of alcohol.
It's a very comfortable place. So much so that I've been known to get lost in there for long periods of time... both a good and bad thing !! but mainly good fun.
