Casimir: Casimir has all the makings of a French bistro: Antique mirrors above the bar reflect rows and rows of bottles, diners munch on steak frites as drinkers seeking a seat in the lounge plead with an aloof maitre ’d, and mosaic tiles in a doorway evoke an exotic influence. A full bar is embellished with exotic cocktails like the Gloibulga, Mirza, Zebulon, and Polux, and the long list of digestifs, ports, Scotch, and pastis is also impressive; friends and couples of varying ages catch up over drinks in a lounge alongside the bar.
