Get your fill of Middle Eastern food and drink at the West Village's Casa la Femme, moving back down to the West Village after a foray in Midtown. The chic Bedouin decor (it's possible!), midriff-baring belly dancers, and sexy signature cocktails like the French Kiss belong downtown anyway.
I just love it. The food is very authentic and I particularly like the fish dishes. I have so many favorites that there is no need to recommend any in particular. The ambience of the place reminds you of a Kasbah with its secluded tents, belly dancing and best of all the aromatic hookahs. It is a dream place to take a date for the first time.
