Cafetasia: Walking into Cafetasia is a little bit like walking into an Asian Hogwart's dining hall. Dim lighting, deep communal tables, and "magically" floating candles and flowers give visions of Harry Potter eating tuna belly. The menu is simple and straightforward, with meals coming in Dave Thomas increments ranging from X-Small to X-Large and priced accordingly ($1-$13). The service is fast, but the drinks (obviously the money-making part of the operation) are small, pricey ($8-$10), and a lot less glamorous than their exotic names suggest. To avoid the hustle, try the happy hour from 4pm-7pm where you'll get 2-for-1 drinks while you munch on “Crying Tiger” sushi and Green Papaya salad. Eat your heart out, J.K. Rowling. |
