 The best of the village Cachaca Jazz & Samba is easily the single greatest nightlife experience I have found in the village. This club simply has everything. The small and intimate setup makes it a great date spot, as does the incredibly good drink menu and very very welcoming staff. If you come out with some buddies just for the music you're also in luck. The early 7pm sets are almost always free, the weeknight sets are either 5 or 10 bucks, and for you music lovers the higher 20 dollar weekend cover is well worth the act for Fridays and Saturdays. The jazz scene at Cachaca is highlighted by Brazilian music, and this very nicely depicted by a giant mural blending New York and Rio as you enter the club. The bar is a perfect size, with perfect drinks, and perfect bartenders. The room is tuned for acoustic bass, making the sound low, warm, and evocative of that classic jazz sound.
