Cachaça Jazz ‘n’ Samba Club: It’s named after the potent sugarcane liquor used to make caipirinhas; and rightly so—you’re going to need a few of those to make it through a night here. This isn’t the kind of spot you just pop into; you better really like jazz fat cat because the cover is $10 and there’s a $15 minimum. (Money, baby!) Once inside, though, you’ll be privy to an intimate Brazilian-themed room that boasts insanely good acoustics (although we can’t promise insanely good music) and three different sets at 9pm, 11pm, and 1am. Get tanked on exotic drinks such as caipiroskas (er, it’s the Russian version) and batidas de coco, but just remember that a quiet policy applies during each performance.
