 A happy place! Wow, somebody has an agenda!! Bua is a cool bar. They make good drinks and look after people in a genuine way. Sure its a popular place that gets busy on weekends but that always happens to good bars. Don't be a hater! And their drink prices are better than most. It started out with a very under aged crowd, mostly of non-East Village, Queens type blue collar worker children. Now it has a police state atmoshphere. Further, the drinks are more expensive than many of the traditional local places. For sure, it is not cool. Most importantly, count your change when you buy a drink. Posted by: Cat On: 3/18/2008 8:55:00 PM  Yummie Martinis This is a cozy place that I like in the winter because of the candles inside, but in the summer the tables out on the patio is perfect for hanging out on a late afternoon early evening enjoying a cool one. The bartenders are friendly and relaxed and the crowds is ok, it can be a little young on the weekends because of the location, but it’s not too bad.
