What beer drinker wouldn’t love being able to get inside the brewery? All those kegs just waiting to be tapped—it practically boggles the mind. The Brooklyn Brewery offers lucky local drinkers that chance every Friday and Saturday. Set up like an unfinished basement, everyone crowds the long picnic tables and snacks on pizza; you prepay for your beer with tickets (which are discounted when purchased in bulk) and can enjoy any of the eight rotating varieties on offer. The scene is a bit like a post-collegiate prom, but if you show up early enough and grab seats you can easily isolate yourself. The hours here are short, so fill your liver up as much as you can before passing out elsewhere.
