Broadway Dive:
Honesty is the best policy—Broadway Dive is indeed a dive, and truly does reside on Broadway. It’s sawdust-covered and the air is stagnant inside, but the Dive serves its admirable purpose in a neighborhood way too populated with overpriced cafés and college bars. The mission statement: throw a few back and loosen the belt a notch or two. College types do make their way here, but they blend in so nicely you won’t feel like you’re in the student union. Bar eats are available and they have upwards of 15 beers on tap, more than you’d expect at such an unassuming and low-rent bar
