Brick Cafe: Housed inside what’s probably the most attractive restaurant in Astoria—one that wouldn’t be out of place in Soho or even Paris—is a very solid bar. The dark and moody backroom at Brick Café offers the same wine list as the restaurant, as well as a full liquor selection, some small candlelit tables, and big comfy brown leather couches. In the summer, Brick’s sidewalk seats are among Astoria’s best and busiest for drinks, or hit them up on the weekend for a Bloody Mary- or mimosa-fueled brunch. Just beware...the bathroom near the bar is so small, it's almost comical. Open Mon.-Thu. 5pm-midnight, Fri. 5pm-1am, Sat. 11am-1am, Sun. 11am-midnight.
