Located on the edge of Midtown, this eatery attracts tourists and theater-goers in search of not only the Brazilian cuisine craze that’s crept over the city, but some damn fine caipirinhas. Inside this corner restaurant, brick walls are adorned with warm wood accents and pictures of “Brasil,” giving the place a cozy, traditional feel—except for the contemporary neon blue drop lights over the bar. Brazilian specialties such as feijoada, a stew made with smoked meats, dried beef, chorizo, and black beans, lie at the heart of the menu. If samba sounds enticing, there’s live music on the weekends. Bottom line: Intrepid city carnivores are sure to find nirvana amid the meat-laden menu and South American cocktail choices.
Depending on where you sit, don't let them put you in the basement. Have them sit you upsatirs, because they will forget about you. There wasn't a large selection of meat or a choice. Good for a quick bite, and nothing to large to stuff yourself.
