Stealing fame from its popular sister space next door (Industry), this place is more about looks than substance. Braque’s most attractive feature is an open interior that allows visitors to gaze at trendy model types, their tiny handbags, and the fawning businessmen/lapdogs who pick up the tab. The cold steel décor doesn’t imply that this place is worth the wait, and trust, us, there will be a wait. Braque’s impressive wine list, which includes gems from Italy, France, and California, overshadows its limited Mediterranean menu. Break open a bottle quick because Braque is strictly a summer affair (open approx. 4 months a year). Having been here makes a more impressive statement than actually being here.
