Don’t turn around that corner so quickly. Behind the offendingly bright blue awning of Savore Restaurant in SoHo hides something worth searching for, namely a trendy wine bar that actually allows you to purchase quarter bottles of wine. Hidden in the back of the eatery is Boutique del Vino, a wine bar which houses racks upon racks of wine, stacked better than Pam Anderson. At this bar, half and quarter bottles are served, easily allowing customers to lie to themselves about how much they’ve had to drink if their addition skills are rusty. It’s not a crazy scene, but when a spot is known for their wine, relaxation is in the cards from the get-go. Outdoor seating is a definite draw, allowing Boutique’s Frasier wannabe patrons to boast their new wine aficionado status to onlookers.
