Forget wasting away in Margaritaville—you’ll want to have a champagne jam fit for a king after stepping into the newly relocated Bourgeois Pig. Sink into one of the plush velvet chairs and get comfortable, because it’s going to take you a while to decide which beer, wine or champagne cocktail to choose from the decadent drink menu. The Bordello Special (pineapple infusion, champagne) is highly recommended, but if you’re feeling a little devilish, take a chance on the Le Diable (rose wine, cassis, lemon juice, ginger beer). The sounds of Gogol Bordello and the like hovering over your own conversation may just whisk you away from Alphabet City into the land of gypsies of Eastern Europe, which, for once, isn’t such a bad thing.
This place was very funky. The red lighting and couches and chairs make this place a cozy romantic spot. Thought this place was very small, the staff was very nice and personable and its a great place to sip champagne or wine with your guy or gal.
