Boudoir at Perle: This versatile lounge beneath Perle has dual identities: From a first look at the front room, with its Japanese plants, light-toned wooden bar, and glass-shelved wine display, Boudoir appears to be a sleek lounge fit for a Wall Street exec (assuming they still have a job). However, if contemporary décor isn’t your thing, then head to the backroom, where the interior design drastically changes to a classical theme. The rich milieu comes with a price, though (it’s not called the Financial District for nothing)... The expense is balanced out with cheap small plates, like as porcini mushroom ravioli with truffle essence and grilled octopus—c’est magnifique! Open daily 12pm-1am.
