Boucarou
The idea of convertible-dining in New York is usually restricted to street-side windows letting in copious amounts of “fresh” air and the subtle intoxication of puppy feces. Boucarou one-ups the breezy competition with a sueded-out lounge, exotic drink menu, and the ever-elusive retractable roof. The tan banquettes and vaulted lounge make a great addition to the up-and-coming Lower Eastpacking, but it’s the mobile roof on the upstairs lounge that makes this venue worth a visit. Make sure to come in summer because rumor has it that they plan on covering the floor of the upper lounge in sand so you can sip cocktails while pretending you’re sunbathing in Cameroon. And yes, this beats your rooftop kiddie-pool any day of the week.

Awesome!!!!

Threw a b-day party in the VIP room a few weeks ago. Great time. Owner Patrice is a great person to deal with and will help with anythign that he can. Staff is awesome, and Sheila is the nicest person I have ever met. Totally go and check out the hot crowd. Even better, throw a party here folks!

Sublime-superb!

I organized a friend's birthday celebration here on a Friday night and the service was impeccable. Everything was perfect, from the courteous correspondence with owner Patrice to the swift access granted to all gustlisted invitees. This new space has a fresh sleek, swanky, decor. The bar is cool but with efficient par tenders but I would reccommed bottle service. Our bottles were delivered promptly and accompanying mixers n ice refilled regulary. On the night we were there the DJ MOMA was on the ones and two's, he masterfully had the crowd moving with a sensational mix of old School-new school Hip Hop/dancehall/ world beats making for a long night of grooving with laid back people. The food is great too. Check this place out,you won't regret it. Might want to call in advance to find out what the musical theme for the night is.
