Bondi Road
Ever had “Sex on the Beach” but then regretted “Sand in your Pants?” Down unda in the Lower East Side at the new Bondi Road, you can enjoy both—in the form of a fruity cocktail, that is. Brought to you by the same Aussies as The Sunburnt Cow, you can kick back at this antipodean-themed bar/fish ’n’ chip shack with a cold beer and snack on fresh Aussie and Kiwi seafood (flown in twice a week). Forget greasy English cod ’n’ chips and instead choose how you want your ocean trout or snapper cooked. If you don’t fancy something hot, go for the raw selection—oyster shooters are for the brave only! The laidback staff adds to the beach-side theme where you can watch surfers on huge projector screens and enjoy your bonzer tucker (good food, for those who don’t come from a land down under) while imagining you’re sitting on Bondi Beach itself.

The laidback vibe at this Aussie shack makes it a perfect stop for pre-cocktails and a snack before you go out.
