Bond 45:
In 1940s New York, Bond 45 is where you would have gone for a steak and Scotch before catching the McGuire Sisters open for Sinatra at the Paramount. In modern-day New York, show-goers and executives alike fill every one of the 250 seats most nights. Not to be confused with other colossal restaurants in the district (Olive Garden this is not), Bond 45 sets itself apart with its classic design and sprawling menu. The long dark bar, aged tile floors, Italian marble, and dark distressed leather booths evoke a prohibition era past. The menu, with one full page dedicated to the antipasto and mozzarella bar, is bursting with Northern Italian seafood, pasta, and meats. Choose from the long wine list or tasty cocktails like the Hudson—an apple martini made with Hudson Valley apple puree—or the Cosmo 45 made with prosecco. The only thing missing is Old Blue Eyes himself.
