Few bars have mastered the art of craft-pub-cum-coffee shop-cum-craftier-pub. The Blind Tiger Ale House, however, has had little choice in the last year due to the tragic loss of that dreaded liquor license. After countless drama and way too many half-caf soy lattes, the taps are now flowing with some of the country’s finest brews including the likes of Dale’s Pale Ale, Stone Arrogant Bastard, and Heavyweight Lunacy. Step into the woody confines and snuggle up to the fireplace with one of their 28 hard-to-find draughts. Add the 33 new and vintage bottles, 2 cask taps, and a $1-off happy hour (Monday-Friday, 5pm-7pm), and you’ll believe there’s hope in the Village pub scene after all…that is, until the weekend.
This place has it all...Great craft beer, including cask conditioned, a laid back atmosphere, a cool staff and a really good cheese plate. What's not to like?
