Visiting the Blarney Stone in Ireland is said to make you more eloquent. Visiting the Blarney Rock in Midtown, however, will almost undoubtedly give you slurred speech. Everyone from Irish ex-pats to firemen to construction workers grabs a drink here while watch-ing a plethora of sports on the bar’s 14 TVs. But rugby and football (soccer, to you American folk) aren’t really the games of choice here—ice hockey takes the cake. (Who knew it was even still around?)
