It doesn’t get much more low-rent than this, but for those who have a strong commitment to cheap booze, Popeye the bartender will be more than happy to keep your glass full from 8am-4am. Now that’s dedication. There are no frills in this Irish neighborhood dive, and that includes not having a credit card machine; this alehouse is not for those seeking any type of scene. The hottest thing you’ll find is the breath from the old guy who just can’t tear himself away from the bar.
