Black Rabbit: Booze at the push of a button? This alcoholic's wet dream is now a reality thanks to Kent Lanier’s 19th century-inspired bar in Greenpoint. Leave your urban neuroses at the door, step into a private wooden booth (with doors that close for privacy!), press a button, and watch a small bulb light up and your drinks arrive shortly thereafter. Day-um! Admire the old fashioned portraits, deep red ceilings and chandeliers, and the ornate woodwork behind the bar (designed by the owner himself) while indulging in Welsh rarebit tots and a margarita roja, or just kick it on the back patio with a $3 giant can of Guinness. At closing time, you’ll be crying because even though you don’t have to go home, sadly, you can’t stay here.
