Black Finn:
Black Finn is the kind of sports bar that’s less about sports, and more about drinking. Heavy drinking. From Wednesday to Sunday, an amateur DJ—your cousin’s friend’s brother from Long Island with the bad blow-out—spins bar standards, to the delight of kids shooting woo-woos and chugging Coors Light drafts. There’s nothing pretty about 20-something investment bankers pouring some figurative sugar on themselves on the dance floor at the back of Black Finn, which boasts a “Cajun menu with American flair” and a handful of beers on tap. By day, the brightly lit, yellow-walled room doesn’t look half bad. But by night, on the dark dance floor, the place feels dingy.
