Bistrouge
Former Analyst Eda Kilic picked an opportune time to flee embattled Wall Street. Her maiden venture, Bistrouge, a Pan-European bistro dubbed for its crimson decor and subtitled "Coffee Wine Bread Odyssey," should yield a solid return on investment. Bistrouge offers as many exotic tastes as you woud find on an Odyssean voyage, and you won't need an epic-sized wallet to enjoy them. Chef Jim Cummings and consulting chef Diego Gonzalez (of Williamsburg's Zipi Zape), churn out tempting entrees like mussels in Spanish saffron ($15) and desserts like ricotta cheesecake with Indian orange water and mango coulis ($7). Relax on a cherry leather banquette and sip a creative libation conceived by Shige (of chichi speakeasy  Angel's Share), or hit the 10-seat marble bar for a generous pour of Côtes de Provence Rose ($8). Take heart, because Bistrouge's moderately-priced, refined fare won't put you in the red. Open Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun 6pm-1am, Fri-Sat, 6pm-1am.

Great New Bistro

I have been to this bistro twice already although it opened recently. I have had great fun both times. I tried Gingerouge and Pamama cocktails and they are amazing. As for food I had meatballs in tomato sauce and burger with fries. Both were delicious and meatballs are the best ones I had for a long time. Prices are very reasonable. It has a few options for sitting and I love to sit at the bar because they have an open kitchen.
