If you’re headed to Bin 71, there are a couple of things to remember aside from your “Wine for Dummies” guide. Number one: Breath mints. This teeny-tiny wine bar really packs ’em in—close quarters is saying it lightly. And number two: Comfy shoes. Chances are you’ll be standing the better part of the evening, as stool hoarders park it at the marble-topped bar all night. Over 100 vino varieties are available by the bottle, most of them on display on shelves throughout the place. No doubt you’ll find something that pairs nicely with tapas menu items like cheese plates and homemade meatballs in white wine and lemon sauce. Beer lovers will be happy to find craft brews on hand: Aventinus and Whale’s Tail are just a couple. Oh, one more thing. Only fools smell the cork.
