Beer Bar @ Cafe Centro: 
A beer bar for not-so-serious aficionados, Café Centro’s Beer Bar offers several bottled imports and up to 10 drafts, which helps to justify the name. Jutting off the northwest end of Grand Central Terminal, this spot attracts a gaggle of thirsty white-collar workers stopping by for a round or three of afternoon and pre-commute brews. Businessmen hold late lunch meetings in the large, art-deco-inspired dining room, while younger desk jockeys take to the outdoor area to “network” with interoffice hotties. The cross-cubicle pick-up scene lasts until about 8, when folks can no longer put off catching their trains back to the ’burbs. In fact, Beer Bar is such a lunch and after-work spot, it isn’t even open on weekends.

Great Bar

Beer Bar is my favorite place to go after work. There is always a great crowd there! With more than enough seating, I never find myself huddling around the bar.
