Combining hairdryers, aerosol hairspray, and alcohol seems like a terrible idea, but that doesn’t stop beauty school dropouts from squeezing into Beauty Bar. No kitschy vanity icon was overlooked in this retro salon-inspired bar that looks like the place where your Aunt Gert gets clipped and dipped every week. Parlor tricks like a DJ and sceney parties draw hipsters who probably cut their own hair, while cocktails like the Platinum Blonde add to the fun. And did we mention the $10 martini and manicure special? You won’t get that at SuperCuts.

There's close to nothing to compare Beauty Bar to. it's a special place indeed. Ladies, the happy hour special is awesome. Forget those manicure places, which are awkward and boring. This place gives you a drink and a manicure! for only $10 There can be a wait, so get there early and pay to solidify your spot. While waiting, sit at one of the hairdryers, or sit at the bar and chat with the cool staff. I totally recommend this spot for after-work meetups.

So Fun! I tried the $10 manicure and free drink and it was totally worth it. What a great way to spend a friday night out with the girls!
