If you like sports in a clubby atmosphere you’re lucky that this place is so close to the Midtown Tunnel. This lounge is all about the bridge and tunnel crowd and its seven-days-a-week happy hour promises to keep the party going day or night. With 17 game-projecting plasma screens, this is a natural for sports freaks who appreciate a “casual neat” dress code. On weekend nights, this place morphs into the thumping Club XII, magnetically attracting those 20- and 30-somethings looking to indulge in live DJ music and fruity, pungent cocktails. On a Tuesday or a Wednesday, though, be prepared to sing some serious karaoke or engage in an all-business speed-date.
Do NOT plan a party here! I had my birthday here a few weeks ago and it was completely awful. They lied to us about giving us a back area. I spoke with the event planner there multiple times prior to our party and she promised us tons of things that NEVER happened. Do not believe anything they say! Also, there was tons of broken glass on the floor all night, and a major fight in the middle of the bar. This place completely ruined my birthday expierence! There are tons of better places in NYC to go!
