Like its Italian scooter namesake, Bar Vespa is sleek, tiny, and just the spot to plunk your hip, sexy ass down. Red is the color of choice for this simply decorated wine bar, which offers more than one hundred wines by the bottle and glass. An after-work crowd takes off the edge at the long, skinny bar in the first room. Those contemplating an interoffice affair can proceed to the lounge in back, with its crimson banquettes and a menu of savories like imported cheeses and olives. There used to be a two-dollar sitting fee for the lounge, but that's no more, so why not kick back and enjoy life like the Euros do.
