The W Hotel design team seems to have a gift for sophisticated watering holes; Audrey seems more like a glass palace that happens to have a bar than vice versa. This elegant little spot is far from the roaring Manhattan crowd, and a popular location for 5pm business meetings, off-site interviews, and mini mogul mergers. Though they don’t offer a food menu, management graciously puts out a spread of fruit and cheese throughout the cocktail hour, so those big corporate execs and their prospective clients can keep their focus and make the big score. Even more humble folk will enjoy the peace and quiet—as well as the oversized flat-screen DVD player.
