Aspen Social Club: Like an antidote to Rockefeller Center, this wintry wonderland will make you forget you're in midtown. Greg Brier (Highbar) and nightlife veteran/interior designer/blogger Steve Lewis expand their Aspen concept with this futuristic snowy-white and wood cabin in the forest-themed restaurant/lounge in Vikram Chatwal’s new Stay.Hotel. You'll feel like you're at a nightclub whether it's 6pm or midnight, since loud music makes conversation nearly impossible all night long. Given the location, the crowd is a mix of girls decked out in ultra-minis and strappy heels, pick-up artists, and dowdy office drones. With a Colorado-inspired menu by chef Adam Ross (Amalia) and Lewis' stunning decor featuring a $100,000 ceramic antler chandelier and a glass wall etched with tree trunks, this place is both whimsical and luxurious. Look for the cocktail menu to include the Biff, a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream topped off with Chivas Regal—the favorite drink of longtime Aspen resident Hunter S. Thompson.
