Almond: Satisfy your wintertime Hamptons craving at Almond, the Flatiron branch of the Bridgehampton restaurant favored by Christie Brinkley and Katie Couric. Opened in Oct. 2008, it serves up fare like steak frites, roast chicken, curried mussel cocktails, vol-au-vent (frog legs, mushrooms and escargot in puffed pastry), veal Milanese and sea scallops with braised pork shank. The vibe is more relaxed than you'd think, with salvaged wood and a back room that features a pool table and toile wallpaper.
