Since 1950 Alcone has been serving the theatre and film industries as a professional theatrical makeup store, however there are gems inside that are must-haves for any beauty buff. The company sells theatrical makeup brands such as Kryolan, Ben Nye, and RCMA foundations, which are a great deal at only $9-$55! Customers are addicted to their individually packaged makeup wipes and their non-latex makeup sponges that give more bang for the buck. They come in a block of eight, don’t smell funky after usage, and can also be washed ($2.50). Some fun pick-me-ups are the Jao hand sanitizer that has a zen aroma of lavender, eucalyptus, and tea tree ($4 for the 2oz), the Japonesque heated mini eyelash curler ($20), and TasMerah makeup bags and cases. You can also schedule an appointment for a brow grooming session or eyelash extensions.
