Abe & Arthur's: 

A sleek restaurant positioned on Meatpacking cobblestone, Abe & Arthur's is the EMM Group's first foray into dining. As one might expect from the crew responsible for Tenjune and Simyone Lounge (downstairs), nightclub touches are evident everywhere. First off, the place is glitzy, with the beautiful interior and mezzanine echoing a 1940’s fine-dining experience (fitting as the place is named after the two owners' grandfathers). And, true to any Meatpacking place-of-the-moment, the staff is not the most amiable bunch; be prepared to fight for the reservation that you made two weeks ago. Or maybe it's just that they can't hear you—like at a nightclub, the DJs here are pumped obscenely loud. The upside, especially considering you're at a restaurant and not "Tenjunior," is a prestigious menu with overwhelming assortments of raw bar bites and meticulously grilled steak and chops. So if either Abe or Arthur can hear us, here's our suggestion: Turn up the lights, turn down the music and let us enjoy this exquisite place.
