ñ: Long and skinny like its patrons, this dark, intimate tapas bar is always bubbling with Spanish passion. By the flicker of candlelight, 30-something couples and wannabe models share small plates of rustic Iberian fare and pitchers of sangria (red in winter, white in summer) at two tightly packed copper bars or, if they’re lucky, one of the tall tables in the front window or back. Live flamenco music and dancers on Wednesday nights make the space nearly impassable, but no one seems to mind, as the Rioja is just spreading to their feet. In addition to a solid list of Spanish wines, there’s also an impressive menu of sherries, for those exploring their debonair side. |
