Let’s get one thing straight. Just because you have curtains in the window and couches to sit on does not mean you are a lounge. Everything about 1050 screams bar, from the wide space to the round high-top tables with wooden pub-style barstools and the construction workers on lunch break at the bar. A giant TV is pasted to one wall and framed art like a monkey drinking puts those poker-playing dogs to shame. American/Italian fare is served for dinner at the adjacent restaurant, but you can stop by for breakfast too; both the restaurant and lounge open at 6am. All of this is encased in the Skyline Hotel, so you know where to crash if closing time for you creeps close to opening time.
