Tell us about some of your projects outside of hosting parties.
M: Nightlife is highly integrated with the fashion and entertainment worlds, and sometimes we cross over into those businesses for our events or for our marketing clients. At the moment, we are working on a new media company, a luxury t-shirt line, an energy drink, and more. In addition to all the nightclubs parties and private events, we do marketing for lifestyle and entertainment companies, including Ciroc Vodka and Showtime Networks.
Nightlife in NYC seems to be all about gimmicks these days. Do you think there is a formula to catering to the elusive “high-end” clientele? M: The formula is simple: people. Get the right crowd there, and keep them coming back. Mix these people with a fresh idea, and the rest will follow.
