It’s summer; it’s hot. Don’t feel like chasing Mr.Frostie? Fight the city heat at 230 Fifth’s decadent champagne brunch. Giant umbrellas shade you from the elements while DJ’s spin all day long. Palm trees and hundreds of brightly-hued petunias line this lush getaway. It’s the greenest rooftop in town. And for a rooftop bar, the prices aren’t that steep. Most dishes are $8 to $12, and cocktails start at $10. Party promoter, Shelley Clark says, “There’s a relaxed vibe. Ladies dress chicly comfortable;” but tell your man there’s a ban on tees.
