Sports bars? No thank you. Bar sports? Bring it ON! Since we here at Shecky's believe that awesome displays of athletic prowess shouldn't necessarily require athleticism (or even coordination), we find that no place is out of our league for a night of friendly competition. Instead, we say "game on" with our list of favorite local bar sports and where to play them...drink all night and still feel like a winner!

SKEE BALL
Leave it to Williamsburg to open a dedicated Skee Ball bar. Aficionados of the carny game are already flocking to the brand-new Full Circle Bar...and if you get the reference behind the name, you probably already have your own personal wooden ball set. Sure, there are other bars with ramps, but do they have league play? Full Circle offers it three times per week, which is good news for you skee ball spectators out there. You do exist, right?

PING (and other kinds of) PONG
SPiN is the place making all the waves in the city’s ping pong scene. Hell, it is the city’s ping pong scene…and if you want in, membership has its privileges. Not only will you get the tables half-off (from $20 / person / half-hour), but you'll snag a shot at some games in the exclusive Fred Perry room. Yup, that Fred Perry.
If you're the sort that likes the pong—but perfers other uses for the paddle—beer pong competition in the city is coming to a frothy head. Village Pourhouse recently hosted official league play and The Town Tavern throws a weekly "Beer Pongapalooza." Yikes. If you aren't quite ready for the majors, you can always cup it up at the tried-and-true Biddy Early.

BOCCE
It makes sense that Brooklyn still has this market cornered on this classic Italian sport. In fact, as far as we can tell, downtown’s Floyd, NY, and its wildly successful Park Slope spin-off
