Makeup Party
They’ve been around for 100 years, so MAX Factor has gotta be doing something right. When it comes to lip colors, we’ve found that their Lipfinity 3D (15) hits the spot. The double-ended lip color and gloss duo comes in 26 shades and deliver rich, long-lasting color without any nasty stickiness ($8.84 at drugstores nationwide). For those of us who go gaga over funky packaging, L’Oreal’s Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Eyeliner (16) ($8.96), a loose mineral powder that’s a preservative-, talc- and fragrance-free, has a soft bristle liner brush built right into the packaging, while the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Professional (17) ($8.96) is a cool three-in-one tweezers, powder pencil, and brush. We can’t help but get a little nostalgic every time we use Wet n Wild. For the price, the cosmetic brand is truly unbeatable. We’re especially fond of the Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer (18) ($3.99) complete with SPF 15, and the Silk Finish trio (19) of blushes ($3.99). Use an angled brush, and your cheekbones will look much more expensive then they actually are.
And don’t worry—we aren’t telling anyone your drugstore secret.
