Mike Dominicio New
York born and raised, DJ Mike Dominico began spinning records
at the early age of
fourteen. Originally focusing primarily on Hip Hop, Dominico
witnessed the conception
and evolution of the genre while expanding his repertoire
to include everything from R&B and Reggae to Classics
and House. It was his general love and appreciation for music
that kept the tables spinning and led him into
studio
production, thus producing remixes for artists including
Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears.
Today, DJ Mike Dominico
is considered to be a veteran of the DJ industry, respected
by fellow DJs, club owners and promoters alike for his ability
to adapt to the situation put before him. His extensive experience
and knowledge of music and people have secured him residencies
and guest appearances in clubs such as Webster Hall, China
Club, Avalon and Roxy, as well as lounges including Lot 61,
Eugene, Rebar (Suite 16), Lotus, Go, and Suede.
New Year’s
Eve 2008 at Strata will prove to be this year’s
testament to the skill and experience of DJ Mike Dominico
as he once again weaves a tale of Hip Hop, House, Dance,
Classics, and whatever else he manages to sneak into
the mix.
