Katerena Alkhimova got her start in little old Paris, working for the infamous Christian Dior designer, John Galliano. From such “humble” beginnings, Katerena created Kat, a fashion line designed to make every standard piece sexy. Need proof? Here’s a triple dose: (1) Give your little black dress the boot and dare to bare more in this Isabelle Dress (Retail: $145; Shecky’s: $125), (2) How many ways can you dream up to wear this 100% cashmere Large Tube Scarf (Retail: $140; Shecky’s: $120)?, (3) Get black and, er, or, blue, baby. This Sasha Sweater/Dress (Retail: $154; Shecky’s: $130) is our favorite piece in the cashmere collection. Oh, and going back to the designer for a moment: Did we mention that Kat models in all her “spare time,” (think Banana Republic and Kenneth Cole)? Yeah, we think this siren knows what sexy is.
