How did you become a designer?
It was a total accident actually. I was bored at my 9 to 5 and I would doodle on the computer while my boss was out of town. This was when the ‘Prescription for Peace’ was created! I decided to put it on a t-shirt and was constantly being asked about it. So I decided to keep working on new designs and that’s how Gold Saturn began! What’s your inspiration? My inspiration comes in so many forms! From the people I meet to my own backyard. Miami is a great place to explore! Now I’m finding myself really inspired by children and the artwork they create. I love the way kids draw! What's your hometown? Miami If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be? I would have to say the ‘Prescription for Peace’ tee. It’s the tee that got Gold Saturn where it is today, not to mention it’s a staple in my closet. What are you wearing right now? Well if you must know… I’m in an oversized Gold Saturn tee and boxer briefs. When I get home the first thing I do is take off my pants! It’s a terrible habit but I can’t help it.
