How did you become a designer?
I was in on a Saturday night and my aunt had bought me a sewing machine. I decided to make a skirt wrap on a belt (an idea I had been carrying around for a few years). I finished it went to a party and people asked me where they could get one. The rest is history. I also met my husband at that same party! What’s your inspiration?
I love all things Japanese and Deco. If I can fuse the essence of these two things I am happy. My inspiration also is the great diversity of all women.
What’s your hometown?
Los Angeles, although I grew up in Australia.
If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be?
It is still in process, but it is a "tuxedo tulle wrap" which is a wraparound top made of silk tulle with elegant ruffles cascading down the front.
What are you wearing right now?
I am pregnant, so I hate to say....elastic waist jeans! They are designer though.  Hot Picks - Jodi B Wise
