How did you become a designer?
I’m an actress and yoga teacher and wanted to combine my acting downtime with a spiritually creative business. That’s how I came up with my yoga-inspired jewelry line, Janaration.
What’s your inspiration?
Yoga and healing. I research the healing properties of gemstones in an effort to design jewelry that looks beautiful and radiates a positive, healing message that inspires and promotes spiritual growth.
What’s your hometown?
Atlanta, but I live in LA
If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be?
Right now it’s the Pearl Lotus, because the lotus flower represents spiritual enlightenment and mother of pearl promotes prosperity. I love the healing elements, plus this is a classically beautiful design. I only design pieces I wear, so every week I have a new fave.
What are you wearing right now?
I just taught a yoga class—so comfy dark blue Ralph Lauren Gaucho Pants and a blue tank with an Erge butterfly T-shirt over it.
